Beamies at tde River in Augusta

We are from out of town and looking for a place to have a seafood lunch. I had the combo basket with blackened catfish and shrimp, potato salad and hush puppies. The food was excellent and the wait time was under 30 minutes. The prices are very reasonable, dining area was clean for a very busy time of the day. The staff was very nice and attentive. When in this area again we will absolutely eat here again.

This is a good place to get great tasting seafood and it comes out quickly. The customer service is very pleasant. The drinks taste delicious. I would suggest some better desserts. Something different and unique to the restaurant. A great meal needs an accompanying dessert.

Small restaurant, but put into an old building next to Augusta Ga. Riverwalk. Very good 👍 seafood. Try the crab and Seafood dip, excellent! Good seafood and not too expensive.

Loved the fried Mahi Fish! Large fillet fried perfectly. Ask for them to make you onion rings. They were some of the best I’ve ever had but they are not on the menu. Great service.

The food, service, and location are Spot-On. I've been going here for years and it is consistently great. Try the Po-Boys and the Gumbo!!

Great food just wish I had a little more of it for the price. Little more expensive than the $$ they are rated. Kinda expensive to be eating out of baskets and styrofoam bowls.

Very impressed staff was friendly. I didnt know that they were closing soon and they still welcomed us warmly and served very good food. Will definitely go again.

I hate to rate them so low but the shrimp and hush puppies came premade out of a bag and tasted like it. The chef finally came out and had one excuse after another like it takes too long to bread shrimp and make hush puppies. Really. You feature seafood for heaven sake . We got enough French fries(also out of a bag) to feed Augusta. PS. I have never seen shrimp that small. Mostly bread. We were so disappointed. Overpriced and poor quality food.

Cool fish tanks on the inside. I just got the combination fried shrimp and catfish. Serving size was not enough to fill my boyfriend up. But food is tasty.

Service was great, get the shrimp spread for appetizer. Crawdads were amazing!! The steak was a little tough (will pass next time) but everything else was spot on.

Fantastic food and service, April was great at getting our condiments and order out super fast! I had the Fried Catfish and Grilled Shrimp combo with green beans. My wife had the Fried Oysters with Grilled Shrimp everything was hot and fresh. Definitely recommend you stop by and try them out!

My friends and I were on a girls trip. Stopped in. The food was amazing. I had the combo platter with fried shrimp and chicken tenders... taste was amazing!!!!! I Also ordered an Augusta Lemonade it was really good! I would definitely come back, the food and customer service was top notch!

Really nice atmosphere and customer service. However, the food wasn't all that great to me. I tried the Black eyed peas jambalaya, the less were cooked to perfection! The weren't over or undercooked. But, they were bland! All the food we had was bland, except the French fries. I loved their fries, they were crinkle cut, hot crispy,and had just the right amount of salt. Good spot for family dining with children for quick bite

Service was phenomenal thanks to Chloe. Truly enjoyed the experience. I opted for the fried catfish, and demolished it. The potato salad was some of the best I've ever tasted. I'll definitely visit again.

We were there the first day or two that they had in house dining after the shutdown, and we were quite comfortable. The food was as good as always... Our personal preference was their beef.... Cheesesteaks and club sandwiches we think.

I ordered a chicken tender basket with fries and a 2 entree combo with scallops and shrimps sides were to be potato salad and yellow rice. I only got fries. The breading just fell off of everything. It was hard to eat. I called back but got a vc recording. All in all the good was ok minus the sides I didn't get. Presentation needs alot of work.

Their Jumbalya was AMAZING!!! I only had a cup but could have definitely eaten a bowl it was so good. I had that along with thier Cuban Sandwich with a side if potato salad. Very tasteful. Price was reasonable and the staff was SUPER friendly and tentative. Will definitely be back again when I visit Augusta.

Good food, good drinks, great happy hour and friendly service. Fun place to go and have a couple bites and drinks any day of the week. The enclosed porch is really nice to sit in all year long.

Oysters were great.The entree was scallops...seven scallops, two hushpuppies,bowl of cole slaw for around 25 bucks...(just entree was 25 bucks)

I have been in this place after Georgia's reopening during the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff takes care of you and practice social distancing.Only the dining room is open and the bar seats aren't available.Pretty good fish here!Will go back next time in Augusta

Been to Beamie’s several times and I always leave happy. Great food. Great service. Cool atmosphere. Good drinks/beer selection. My regular trips to Augusta are soon coming to an end. I’m going to miss going to Beamie’s!

Came from Savannah to try. We had shrimp crab dip..AWESOME..fried shrimp and catfish basket with green beans AWESOME..my best friend had same except potatoe salad it was nasty our opinion..GREAT PLACE..will come again

I was so impressed with the oyster Rockefeller I forgot to take pics of the other plates. Everything was delicious. I had fried, blackened, grilled shrimps and the fish was none like I've ever had before. The hush puppies were just perfect. I wanted crab legs but I'll be back for those.

Normally my experience is a 5. I brought another group back for the second day in a row. This is what happened with takeout...6 tarter sauce, no cocktail, lemon, 1 blue cheese... little flustered taking out. Dine in yesterday had the best raw oysters and basket. No issues with our waitress on the patio

The food is good and the prices are better they have tables inside or outside the service is great and have a lot of different plates to chose from the menu also always have many promotion on the day don't forget to ask about, the personal really take good care of you always asking if anything else that is needed that is great service.

No beers on tap!!!? But plenty of other beers to choose from. Diverse menu and I love the location right by the river walk. We sat outisde and it's a great place for the kids to let loose and parents don't feel so bad. Food was good.

Server was nice and friendly, food was delicious, i ordered the catfish and chicken tenders basket, i could not finish it all but i wanted to..food was tender and juicy. I will be back!

Seafood was good grilled and fried. Loved the catfish. Truly Louisiana style gumbo. Need more space in the summer for indoor dining. Servers were very attractive attentive.

They have the best fried shrimp and oysters! Good ole southern hospitality! Beer on tap or in the bottle.... Fried or grilled.... Eat outside or inside.... Any way you choose, you'll be satisfied!

Ordered oysters for lunch... very tiny and chewy. No meat. More breading than anything. Left not full and paid $15 to basically eat some breading and fries. SUCKED

Seafood restaurant that doesn't serve baked potatoes but has CRINKLE CUT FROZEN fries. Scallops did not have seasoning that we could tell. Basket meal had 4 scallops , crinkle cut fries and 2 small hushpuppies. I was not impressed.

A truly casual laid back atmosphere awaits as you come through the main or patio doors. Fun selection of seafood that they pair well with their good selection of spirits, wine or good variety of beer. Come on down to Beamie's for that Nice Easy Chill Day.

We enjoy their oysters!! I called to see if they were practicing social distancing. The person on the phone said yes. We sat in the back patio area and noticed the tables with signs saying do not sit. As people can in the signs were removed and we were no longer social distancing. I'll wait until after all of this is over with to visit again.

Food quality was ok. Price was a little high, and the amount if food was sort of low for me. Expected a bit more from my Cuban sandwich. My wife had oysters and she enjoyed them. Would probably not come back again.

The. Shrimp and service was good! The oreo cheesecake is really good!

Nice friendly seafood place on the Augusta river walk. Large variety of fish to choose from. I ordered grill grouper. The fish was nicely grilled but not seasoned well. Also had gumbo which is strongly recommend ordering.

Pretty nice. Love the oysters great flavor. I wish the fish have more flavor but besides that everything else was great 😊😊
